      皮南牛是河南省南阳市新野县的一个培育的专门化肉用品种，该品种是利用皮埃蒙特牛和南阳牛进行杂交改良育成。皮南牛是一种皮薄、毛细，皮质紧密而富有弹性的牛，由于皮质好，可以作为一种生产高档皮革的优质原料。在肉质方面，其肉质细嫩，富含维生素A和多种蛋白质，脂肪和胆固醇含量很低，受到消费者的广泛好评。本论文综述了皮南牛的培育历程、发展现状、存在问题、发展对策和发展前景，提出了对于皮南牛的开发利用措施，并对未来皮南牛产业的发展做出了展望。

英文摘要:

      Pinan cattle is a special breed of beef cattle in Xinye county, Nanyang city, Henan province. It is a hybrid of Piedmont and Nanyang cattle and has thin hair, filmy, compact and elastic skin. Because of good cortex, the skin of Pinan cattle can be used as a kind of high quality raw material for the production of high-grade leather. In terms of meat quality, the meat of Pinan cattle is delicate. It is rich in vitamin A and a variety of protein and with low fat and cholesterol. It is delicious and its nutritional content is high without causing obesity. It is widely praised by consumers. In this paper, we summarized the cultivating experience, development status, existing problems and development prospect. We put forward the using method of Pinan cattle industry and its expectations in the future.
