| Abstract：Based on the beef cattle farming experiences in northern Anhui Province, this study summarizes and proposes the grain-saving pathways for beef cattle, including efficiency improvement and grain saving, feed resource expansion and grain-saving, and loss reduction and grain-saving. Key technologies such as integrated barn and bedding system, total mixed ration (TMR) feeding, whole-plant corn silage, distillers’ grains fattening, straw biological fermentation, straw ammoniation treatment and utilization, and comprehensive disease prevention are highlighted. This study aim to provide a reference for advancing grain-saving practices in beef cattle farming. |
