With the development of modern animal husbandry, the traditional breeding model is facing multiple challenges, such as the shortage of land resources, environmental pollution and less consideration of animal welfare. As a new breeding mode, the elevated bed beef cattle breeding mode has attracted more and more farmers’ attention for its advantages of saving breeding space and improving the living environment of cattle. This paper discusses the characteristics of the elevated bed beef cattle breeding mode, the construction requirements of the cowshed, the matters needing attention in daily management, as well as the feeding management, nutritional requirements and disease prevention methods of the cattle, which can provide a reference for the breeders to promote the elevated bed beef cattle breeding mode. |
