      With the increasing prices of corn and soybean meal, the cost of breeding continues to rise. Therefore, it has become imperative to seek alternatives for corn and soybean meal. Gansu province, due to its unique geographical advantages, produces a rich variety of agricultural specialty products and provides potential feed sources. The article explores the unique potential feeds that can be used to replace corn and soybean meal in Gansu Province. Among them, the energy-based feeds that can replace corn include the high-yield northwestern corn in the northwestern region, wheat and wheat flour with high energy, low mold resistance, and abundant s, beer barley with high protein content and balanced amino acid composition, and potatoes rich in carbohydrates. Protein-based feeds that can replace soybean meal include sesame cake and rapeseed cake, which are widely planted and easily accessible, with high protein and crude fat content. Stevia, which has a high sugar content and can improve the palatability of feed, as well as a variety of Chinese herbal medicines known for their significant health benefits, can be used as feed additives.
