Cow rumen bloating is a common digestive system disease in ruminant animals in the cattle industry. The disease is caused by cows consuming a large amount of easily fermentable feed, and the large amount of gas produced by rumen fermentation is not discharged in a timely manner, resulting in rumen bloating and gas expansion. If not treated in a timely manner, excessive bloating and swelling of the rumen can cause the diaphragm to move forward, compressing the lungs and leading to respiratory and circulatory distress.Symptoms include labored breathing, increased heart rate, and in severe cases, even death of cattle, causing significant economic losses to farmers.Based on years of clinical experience, the authors elaborated on the clinical diagnosis, treatment methods, and preventive measures of this disease,in order to provide practical technical guidance for farmers to understand the prevention and treatment methods of this disease. |
