| In large scale cattle farms,the problems of recessive estrus,silent estrus and low estrus expression have become increasingly prominent in production,which has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the cattle industry.Timed insemination technology in cattle integrates estrus synchronization,ovulation synchronization and artificial insemination technology.This technology can save the estrus identification link,shorten the fetal spacing,improve the conception rate,and is of great significance for improving the breeding efficiency.It has become an important technical measure for breeding management in large scale cattle farms.This paper reviews the principle,ommon procedures and application of bovine timed insemination technology,and puts forward the problems to be further studied in the future,in order to provide reference for the further improvement of this technology. |
