Subclinical mastitis in dairy cows is one of the most important diseases that seriously affect the healthy development of the dairy industry, and is often overlooked because of the lack of obvious clinical symptoms. The disease is usually treated by antibiotic
udder instillation or intravenous injection, which often results in poor efficacy and compromises quality and safety due to antibiotic resistance and veterinary drug residues. From
February to September 2024,we treated 167 cows diagnosed with subclinical mastitis in a dairy farm in the region with a traditional Chinese medicine formula, curing 153
cows,validating 162 cows,and invalidating 5 cows,with a cure rate of 91.62%,and achieved good
therapeutic results. The use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease
overcomes the shortcomings of antibiotic resistance, veterinary drug residues and easy recurrence, and is characterized by being environmentally friendly, having precise efficacy, and
being easy to promote, etc. It can provide a reference for the clinical treatment of
grass roots veterinary personnel and farmers. |
