      阿勒泰白头牛是我国重要的畜禽遗传资源之一，也是新疆古老的地方优良品种，属肉、乳、役兼用型牛种。该文对阿勒泰白头牛的保护利用现状进行了介绍，分析了该品种资源保护中存在的保种意识不强、开发利用不够、与旅游业发展不协调等问题，提出了保护利用的思路方向与措施建议，可为该品种的保护和利用提供参考。

      Altay white headed cattle is one of the important livestock and poultry genetic resources in China.It is an ancient local excellent breed in Xinjiang and belongs to the dual purpose cattle breed for milk,meat,and livestock.This article introduces the current situation of the protection and utilization of Altay white headed cattle,analyzes the problems of weak conservation awareness,insufficient development and utilization,and lack of coordination with tourism development in the protection of this breed of resources,and proposes ideas and measures for protection and utilization,providing references for the protection and utilization of this breed.
