Bovine Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), also known as bovine lumpy skin disease, is a subacute, febrile, contact insect-borne infectious disease of cattle caused by Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV) [1]. In recent years, this disease mostly occurs in the process of cattle breeding, and antibiotic drugs are often used for treatment, but often do not achieve good results.2022 In September, we took antibacterial drugs with heat-cleansing and detoxifying Chinese herbal medicines for treatment of eight confirmed cases in a cattle farm, and supplemented them with comprehensive measures to strengthen the breeding environment and improve the conditions of cattle rearing and management, and in addition to one calf that failed to be cured and died, the rest of the seven cows were basically cured, and their symptoms significantly improved. Except for one calf that failed to be cured and died, the other seven affected cattle were basically cured, and the symptoms were obviously improved, and the epidemic was effectively controlled. |
