      肉牛产业是固原市全市域布局的主导产业,规模庞大,但在这庞大的肉牛产业中还存在一些影响肉牛健康发展的制约因素。笔者经调查发现,犊牛腹泻是影响较大的因素之一。犊牛腹泻是犊牛在出生后不久,由于外界环境中的某些不良因素而引发的一种消化机能障碍性疾病,发病较为频繁,其主要特征为腹泻,可能伴有体温升高、精神沉郁、呕吐、严重脱水、体重减轻及心力衰竭等症状,该病是现阶段牛类养殖业发展过程中常见的一种疾病,会对犊牛造成很大的影响,制约养殖经济效益的提升和肉牛产业的发展。根据笔者在固原市一区四县牛场调研的结果显示,犊牛腹泻在固原地区属于也比较普遍的疾病,严重危害着固原市肉牛产业的发展,本文综合调查情况,针对固原市犊牛腹泻提出针对性措施,降低发病率,提高肉牛养殖效益。

      The beef cattle industry is the dominant industry in the overall layout of Guyuan City, with a large scale. However, there are still some constraining factors affecting the healthy development of the beef cattle industry within this vast sector. Through investigation, the author found that calf diarrhea is one of the significant influencing factors. Calf diarrhea is a digestive functional disorder disease in calves that occurs shortly after birth due to certain adverse factors in the external environment. It is a frequent occurrence characterized by diarrhea, which may be accompanied by symptoms such as elevated body temperature, depression, vomiting, severe dehydration, weight loss, and heart failure. This disease is common in the current development of cattle farming and can have a significant impact on calf health, limiting the improvement of economic benefits in livestock farming and the development of the beef cattle industry. According to the author’s research in the cattle farms of four counties in Guyuan City, calf diarrhea is relatively common in the Guyuan area and poses a serious threat to the development of the beef cattle industry in Guyuan City. This article summarizes the survey findings and proposes targeted measures to reduce the incidence of calf diarrhea in Guyuan City, thereby improving beef cattle farming efficiency.
