      Mastitis is one of the diseases causing the greatest economic loss in dairy production in China and abroad. The author summarizes the occurrence, pathogenic bacteria and economic loss of clinical mastitis in dairy cows in China and abroad, in order to provide scientific basis for improving dairy farm management and strengthening mastitis control.
