| Based on the advantages of abundant forage, less conflict in land competition, less difficulty in feeding, large consumption demand, and large potential of crop by-products utilization in Yao’an County, beef cattle industry was designated as the goal with the amount of 200 thousand beef cattle on hand, 100 thousand beef on sale, a worth of more than 2 billion Yuan, and an income of 10 thousand Yuan from raising a cow for the farmers annually, to cultivate and to focus on “One county, One industry” as demonstration county, and then, to establish as the brand of “China Yao’an Beef Cattle Industry Base”. It was further stated for the developmental advantages, current status, and suggestion to solve the problems on Yao’an beef industry in this paper. |
