      家畜育种学课程是动物生产学科重要的一门专业基础课程。近年来,由于生物技术、数理统计、计算机科学等领域的发展迅速以及在动物育种中的应用,动物育种领域又出现了不少新理论和新技术。为了使教学更好跟上家畜育种学及其相关领域发展的步伐,本文对我国家畜育种学教材中存在问题进行分析,并重点阐述了家畜育种学教材更新内容。

      Animal breeding course is a professional basic course for students of animal sciences. In recent years, with the rapid development of biotechnology, mathematical statistics, computer science and other fields and the application in animal breeding, many new theories and new technologies have emerged in the field of animal breeding. In order to make teaching better keep pace with the development of animal breeding techniques and methods, we analyze the problems existing in the textbook of animal breeding, and the contents of the updated of the textbook of animal breeding are highlighted in this paper.
