皮埃蒙特牛产于意大利的皮埃蒙特地区,是优质的肉用牛品种,具有屠宰率高,优质肉比率高,皮下脂肪少,瘦肉率高,肉质细嫩等特点,因而皮埃蒙特牛的育种工作也备受关注。一直以来,皮埃蒙特牛的育种组织工作由ANABORAPI协会统一管理,开展皮埃蒙特牛的良种登记,后裔测定,冻精生产及推广,后备种牛培育等工作。育种目标也集中在肉用早熟性和母牛产犊顺利方面。本文主要对皮埃蒙特牛的品种、育种组织和育种方案做出介绍。 |

Piedmontese is a high-quality beef cattle breed which produced in Piedmont region of Italy. It has high slaughter rate, high ratio of high-quality meat, less subcutaneous fat, high rate of lean meat, tender meat and so on. So the breeding of Piedmont cattle was given special attention. The breeding work of Piedmont cattle has been managed by the ANABORAPI Association, which conducts the registration of superior breeds, the progeny testing, the production and promotion of frozen semen, and the breeding of reserve cattle. Breeding objectives also focus on early maturation and calving smooth. This paper mainly introduces the breed, breeding organization and breeding program of Piedmont cattle. |
