      This paper explained the introduction, comparison test, selection and promotion of alfalfa in Qingyang city, and the domestic and foreign varieties were compared. At the same time, the factors restricting the popularization of alfalfa were analyzed and corresponding countermeasures were put forward. It provided a reference for the selection of cultivated alfalfa varieties.
