      Cottonseed shell and cottonseed cake contain gossypol toxicant.If a large amount of cottonseed shell and cottonseed cake was fed to dairy cows,dairy cows could easily be poisoned and catch other series of diseases.So if detoxification could be done by the methods of heating,FeS04 and microbial process,the byproducts of cotton production could be used efficiently.
