| As an important livestock farming base in Shaanxi Province, Yulin City has prioritized the beef cattle industry as a key development direction in recent years. This paper collects, organizes, and analyzes industry data, indicating that from 2021 to 2024, the number of beef cattle raised in the city exhibits a dynamic characteristic of "growth-adjustment-stabilization". The industrial structure shows a high degree of decentralization, with an aging workforce and relatively low educational levels among practitioners. Shenmu City and Yuyang District have formed a core industrial agglomeration area, innovatively establishing three development models: a closed-loop for the entire industrial chain, technology-driven standardization, and high-end brand joint ventures. A preliminary three-tier brand system has emerged, featuring international qualification certification, regional public brands, and collaborative development of high-end corporate brands. Key factors constraining industrial development include low production efficiency, an inadequate breeding system for quality breeds, insufficient supply of high-quality forage leading to rising breeding costs, the absence of large-scale processing enterprises, and weak brand market competitiveness. Future core development trends will focus on advancing large-scale farming processes, deeply exploiting hybrid advantages, improving resource utilization efficiency, and integrating smart technology applications. It is recommended to implement modern technology to upgrade traditional production systems, establish an "Internet+whole industrial chain" quality traceability mechanism, strengthen policy support and industrial collaboration mechanisms, prioritize the cultivation of distinctive beef cattle brands, and promote high-quality development of ecological livestock farming. |
